I’ve taken a leap and agreed to a twenty minute spoken word slot at an arts festival. Not scary at all, well, maybe!
I’ve been writing poetry and short stories since lock-down in 2020 and did wonder what I would do with my body of written work. It’s also a change from photography, design and music so I’m pleased that I’ve agreed to this.
A new challenge is good and I’ve got about five weeks to get my set together (which I’ve already started) so this should be interesting. I’m ok with live performance from my music and band work so this shouldn’t be too much of a shock to my system.
I’ll update on here progress and how it goes, so wish me luck!
